STUFFED ANIMALS FOR EMERGENCIES, INC.

National Headquarters
P.O. Box 119
Orient, OH 43146

The My Life Foundation supports Our Featured Cause - Stuffed Animals For Emergencies!  Unfortunately, every day in America many children are caught in traumatic, emotional, and transitional situations.  That's why in 1997 Cammie Sanders, 2002 Ms. Florida US Continental, founded Stuffed Animals For Emergencies (SAFE), to give these children a little joy during these troubling times.  (SAFE) collects new and gently used stuffed animals to be redistributed to Police, Fire & Rescue, Ambulance Services, Children's Services, Hospitals, Life Flight, and other emergency organizations.  These emergency organizations use the stuffed animals to ease the children's nerves and calm their fears.  These donations let the children know you care and give them hope in a world that at times seems so very cold.

Stuffed Animals For Emergencies (SAFE) is a 14-year-old non-profit organization run completely by volunteers (chapter members).  (SAFE) collects various items such as stuffed animals, toys, books and baby blankets to benefit children during emergency situations such as fires, illness, accidents, neglect, abuse, homelessness and even weather emergencies such as tornadoes, floods, and hurricanes.  (SAFE) also donate the items we receive to other children's organizations, military organizations, libraries and even nursing homes.  (SAFE) accept new and gently used items for donation.  This is a great way to reuse and recycle stuffed animals, toys, books and baby blankets that so many people have in their homes and just don't know what to do with.  When (SAFE) receives donations they go through and clean the items, freshen them up a bit and then donate them to emergency organizations to be given directly to children in emotional, traumatic or stressful situations.  Your donation can really make a difference for a child when they need it most!  The My Life Foundation is an official (SAFE) New Jersey Chapter.

The My Life Foundation supports Stuffed Animals For Emergencies and continues to support superior organizations like (SAFE).  Please continue to help us in our journey to help humanity reach greater heights despite their environment or their immediate circumstances.  Please join us in supporting Stuffed Animals For Emergencies as Our Featured Cause for the Month of February, 2016!

The My Life Foundation supports Our Featured Cause -  All Critters Rescue, Inc.  All Critters Rescue is based in New Jersey and is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization.  Their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home domestic pets and farm animals.  Since 2009, All Critters Rescue has rescued and re-homed over 650 animals.  The animals are provided with medical care, disease tested and vaccinated.  All Critters Rescues' staff of volunteers depend solely on donations and fundraising to meet their expenses.  They are in dire need of additional funds to subsidize the ever-growing expenses of providing for the animals.  Currently their animals live on a farm where lead volunteers can care for them 24/7.  Unfortunately, the sanctuary is in limbo.  All Critters Rescue needs to raise enough money to purchase the sanctuary.  If they do not purchase it within the next 2 years, then they will lose the property and can no longer have the animals.  This can be both devastating for the animals and volunteers.  The My Life Foundation supports All Critters Rescue and continues to support impressive organizations like All Critters Rescue.  Please continue to help us in our journey to help humanity reach greater heights despite their environment or their immediate circumstances.  Please join us in supporting All Critters Rescue as Our Featured Cause for the Month of March, 2016!

The My Life Foundation supports Our Featured Cause - God's Creatures Ministry.  GCM has a mission to light the way to the kingdom of God by promoting compassion for all animals.  All of creation is groaning in labor pains waiting for the revelation of the children of God - hoping to be set free from slavery to corruption (see Romans 8:19-22).  Jesus came to set the captive free.  He is holding all things together (see Col. 1:15-17) until He comes again in glory.

Since God is compassionate to every creature (Psalm 145:9), GCM strives to spread His compassion to all He has made.  There will be a time when all animals will live peaceably together and there will be no more suffering. (Is. 65:25).  This is God's will on Earth as it is in Heaven.  Being his adopted children and made in His image, we follow His commission to be caretakers for all of His creation (see Gen. 1:26,28).

God's Creatures Ministry promotes a healthy lifestyle, remembering that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 6:19).  Most diseases are a result of poor diet and living outside of God's will morally and physically.  The My Life Foundation supports God's Creatures Ministry and continues to support distinct organizations like God's Creatures Ministry.  Please continue to help us in our journey to help humanity reach greater heights despite their environment or their immediate circumstances.  Join us in supporting God's Creatures Ministry as Our Featured Cause for the Month of May, 2016!

The My Life Foundation supports Our Featured Cause – OnebyOne.  OnebyOne is a registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit, no kill, cat rescue made up of a group of animal loving, dedicated, tireless volunteers in Central/South NJ.  OnebyOne has a focus to rescue stray, abandoned, homeless cats and kittens.  Once each cat is in their care they are vaccinated, neutered/spayed and given any and all medical attention that’s needed.  OnebyOne is not a shelter and each cat is fostered in a wonderful home, nurtured and loved until they are able to find each one their forever home.

Another focus of OnebyOne is TNR*(trap, neuter, return).  In an effort to help reduce overcrowding in state shelters and minimize the outdoor feral cat population in NJ, OnebyOne is not only providing hands on help but also provides education and resources to help people who want to get involved in their own backyards and their community.  All of the animals listed for adoption through OnebyOne at one time have been either strays or were rescued from the state shelters and some of them within hours of impending euthanasia.

The ultimate goal of OnebyOne is to find loving forever homes for all of the animals they rescue, and to prevent the birth of more homeless animals.  They strive to accomplish this not only through education, but also by taking a hands-on approach to guide and help in any way that they can.  Due to foster space limitations, they do rescue and place mostly cats.  The My Life Foundation supports OnebyOne and continues to support noteworthy organizations like OnebyOne.  Please continue to help us in our journey to help humanity reach greater heights despite their environment or their immediate circumstances.  Join us in supporting OnebyOne as Our Featured Cause for the Month of July, 2016!

The My Life Foundation supports Our Featured Cause – Trenton Cats Rescue.  Trenton Cats Rescue (TCR) is a non-profit, all volunteer organization committed to helping community, sheltered and family cats in need.  The city of Trenton, like most urban areas of our country today, suffers from many economic and social difficulties, leaving very few resources to care for those who cannot care for themselves.  Trenton Cats Rescue has assumed the job of caring for the feral and adoptable cats of Trenton, the innocent victims of the harsh realities of city life.  Trenton Cats Rescue’s Goals are to:   Conduct humane, non-lethal methods of free roaming cat population management primarily in the City of Trenton, NJ.  Reduce the burden on Trenton Animal Shelters by caring for the adoptable cats of Trenton while in the city’s care and removing cats from the shelter system for placement into foster homes whenever possible.  Conduct adoption events to place shelter and foster cats into permanent homes.  Participate in community events to raise public awareness about how best to manage the homeless cats of Trenton and what resources are available to residents to help with this, most importantly sterilization services.  Provide financial assistance where possible for spay and neuter services.  The My Life Foundation supports Trenton Cats Rescue and continues to support prodigious organizations like Trenton Cats Rescue.  Please continue to help us in our journey to help humanity reach greater heights despite their environment or their immediate circumstances.  Please join us in supporting Trenton Cats Rescue as Our Featured Cause for September, 2016!

PICK YOUR PAW ANIMAL RESCUE

450 Shrewsbury Plaza # 129
Shrewsbury, NJ 07702

The My Life Foundation Supports Our Featured Cause – Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue.  Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue is a small, grassroots network of 10 to 12 animal lovers working together to rehabilitate 6 to 10 rescued dogs at a time, until that rescue is ready for placement as a companion animal. They pull dogs from both local kill-shelters, the New York City Animal Care and Control’s nightly “To Be Destroyed” List, and Miami-Dade Animal Services “To Be Destroyed” List. They are committed to providing spay/neuter, all appropriate medical treatment, foster homes/kenneling, training, socializing, and creating behavioral improvement plans for every dog who enters Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue.
Pick Your Paw makes a lifetime commitment to each dog to help them become stable pets and to match them to their best forever home. Education of the adopter and general public are vital components of their program as they work to end the ease with which people give up on, and ‘throw away’ their family pets. Each dog that exits a shelter, a surrendering home, or a transport vehicle hears the same whispered words, “You are safe. You will not be hurt again. You will find your home, I promise you.” In every walk, play date, CGC class, adoption event or adopter interview, this promise is made good.
Pick Your Paw’s dogs are placed in foster homes or boarded at a nearby kennel/day care. Dogs are fully vetted, providing the same level of veterinary care for their rescue dogs that they provide to their own family pets.  Dogs have attended and graduated from Canine Good Citizen classes. All applicants are carefully screened, including a comprehensive reference check (veterinarian and personal references), multiple phone interviews, and home checks. Follow up check and calls continue past the adoption. They provide support, advice, and continued contact for each adopting family.  Educating the public to create a different viewpoint of the pit bull terrier is also an integral part of their mission.  Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue is a volunteer based, non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization.
The My Life Foundation supports Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue and continues to support exemplary organizations like Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue.  Please continue to help us in our journey to help humanity reach greater heights despite their environment or their immediate circumstances.  Please join us in supporting Pick Your Paws Animal Rescue!
